I just started playing my first NWN2 monk on this server and I wanted to know if circle kick is actually worth taking. I remember nwn1 it would switch your targets constantly. Any such pain here? Or is it really a free attack/round when you've got multiple foes? |

It gives u free attack, sure, but u should only take it when u r pvm oriented. In pvp its useless.
Oh and yeah I think it still changes ur target. |

I dunno.. a circle kicking monk with dev could make short work of a large number of GorDers.
...fort is for wimps.. |

Those crazy lesbians. Apparently they are well-known for their verbal abuse in chatrooms. I guess I didn't get the memo. Why don't people ever tell me these things? |

And due to the level cap, you can't have more than 30 monk.
There goes the other half of A's builds. |

Back to the original subject...
I took circle kick. It's great in most fights with a few exceptions. The extra 'free' attack isn't instant like cleaves or attacks of opportunity. You have to suffer through the attack animation and your toon actually focuses on the guy you're circle kicking for a moment. That changes, at least for a moment, who gets the +2 flanking bonus on your guy and who gets to backstab you.
In short: great against a mob of simple mooks. Bad if you're trying to focus on a backstabber, spellcaster, or boss. It's an extra attack per round, sometimes on a corpse, just like cleave, but it's a tactically risky move. Take this feat at your own risk. If I could back up a level, I'd probably have taken Weapon Focus and enjoyed more accurate attacks where I wanted them. |

I like the feat and take it with most of my monks but it has one more subtle disadvantage, sometimes when the target you circle kick is a bit too far away, you fail to return to attacking to your primary target and do nothing, this can usually be compensated for by being careful to place yourself close to enemies, much like you would do with cleave.
