SoV breaks through mantles?

Today i discovered that Storm of Vengeance doesn't check Mantles. Is this a dex specific change and are there other spells changed this way?
Wonder why that's not listed in the list of class, feat and spell changes.

it propably makes mantle checks more than once because its a spell that targets everyone in range more than once which results in the mantle being depleted very fast cause its a lvl 9 spell.

You're right, but in that way the log should have shown something like: "Spell absorbed, 2 grades left" (dunno if that's right in English, i have German version Razz

) but that didn't showed up in the fight log.

I'm preety sure that SoV eats mantle in single hit, so staying under it u would need to recast mantle every round.
