Cleric Death domain power not working

the death domain power is supposed to summon a shadow that gains power as you level up, currently it acts like it is casting a spell on the cleric, but there is no icon, and no discernible effect that I can find. Is this deliberate? if not, when will the domain power be fixed? I'd like to build a cleric with a shadow

Lol, that shadow has like 50 HP and 6 lvls.. I have cleric with that domain and it's working.

A picture taken today of me and my shadow:

Look on your character sheet, feats tab... you will find an orange icon.. drag a copy of it onto your quickslots so you can summon him. If that icon isn't showing up, then check to make sure you chose the right cleric domains.

I just went on and tried it with the icon in a quickslot instead of using right click, I still get nothing except a message that says Character casts Death domain avatar, character casts death domain avatar (7) on character (1). and no summon. I Have been trying to use it since first level so I don't think it's my prestige class (battle priest) thats the problem. Anyone else have any suggestions?

are you targeting yourself of the ground when you use the ability?

it won't allow me to target it at all, if I activate the feat it just casts it, there is no icon for me to target with

I made a cleric with this feat, and had the same issue. Would only summon and target the cleric .... then nothing happens .......

I just made a new cleric with death domain and it won't work on him either. I know it's a sucky little summon, but I just wanted it mostly for dramatic effect and to make the first level or 2 a little easier, does anyone know how to fix this?

No idea, it works for me just fine. Oh and on low lvls u will get such a weak summon that it's not even worth bothering. Juzt use animate undead when u get it.
