I just found your server which is interesting for me. I created a new character, and placed the pwc file into C:\Documents and Settings\my pc name\My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\pwc\

but when I try to load game, I'm always stuck in "logging character into the module"

any idea ? thanks!

Well if you are certain that your .pwc file is in the correct place, similar to where mine is which uses XP with more than one log in acct:

C:\Documents and Settings\Dan.MAINCOMPUTER\My Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\pwc

Then you may have a resource issue, a corrupted file, or your Firewall either on Windows, an antivirus or a wireless router is blocking the communication.

I had to manually open up a number of ports on my wireless router to play NWN1 and NWN2. I also have to completely turn off my Norton Antivirus because even though I have manually opened all possible ports, it still wants to block NWN.

Keep trying, and if you continue to have problems check out this thread from the Bioware forums:

Be sure to check that your firewalls and/or ports are open. Sounds like there is a communication issue. Check out the Bioware forums threads which I mentioned above for a run down as to which ports need to be open in firewalls and routers.

Also what it sounds like you are experiencing could also be an antivirus/worm protection problem. Be sure to shut down your antivirus. I use Norton (which I shut down manually) and for some reason I still have 'lockouts' when I load on occassion.
