so, I got a 'bootleg' copy of transformers, and I was wondering if anyone knew how to actually "rip / burn" the dvd to my computer personally..

i never understoon why i couldn't save a dvd to my libary.. if anyone knows this horrifying secret let me know please...

would i have to like download some type of software or somthing like that? licks would be uber.. i just dont really know why i cant save movies to my computer :/

i use dvd shrink and nero to make copies of dvds. you should be able to save a copy to your hd with just dvd shrink but its been a while since i have used it and dont remember what format it saves the files in.

Yeah dvd decrypter + dvd2one + nero works great to copy dvd.

I think that Alcohol 120% works best for DVD ripping.

i'm going to agree with tard on dvdshrink.


Just search any decent torrent site (piratebay, mininova etc) for dvd shrink and you should find it.

I used to use alcohol 120% for emulation but switched to daemon tools. Since its freeware, I believe it has less restrictions than A120%.

it seem lot of peep already answer ^^

dvdshrink looks good coz of freeware if it not success alcohol120% is the one i like too (if u can crack or got thier cd-key)

i like to use isobuster to see all content in cd/dvd
and then get media file out(.dat from vcd, .vob from dvd) it also work out for iso,mini image file
