I've not had much luck with their auto-updating process,
attempted it this morning, took about three and a half hours until it finally checked the files already there and told me there was a mismatch and the process had been aborted.
So I recommend manually downloading and patching instead. Here is some more info at this link:

I've looked around a bit but thought someone on here might have a quick answer for me. I currently have v1.66 and need to get to 1.69, but having problems with auto-update in the NWN game. I found a download for 1.69 but it is only if you already have 1.68. Any suggestions on where to get from 1.66 to 1.69 without the auto-patch? |

I will just try the 1.69 critical rebuild patch  |
