Castles Should they be changed?

So i noticed alot of problems with castles. Some people get warnings earlier that people are in their area. Some people have maps X5 longer then others. Some people have Laggy tilesets. Some people have Confusing Generic tilesets and map nodes that are confusing.

So here is a poll with some idea's, i will go on record that i would like 1 general map that all guilds use for the approach to the castles. I would like 3 or more doors that have to be bashed on the way. I would like everyone to get a warning when someone first enters their faction approach.And I would like it if even though its the same base map guilds can add some place ables ,auras, ect... to make it their own. If things stay the way they are we will have 5 mile long maps that have no point because the enemy doesn't even know you taking the 5 Min's to cross their lame map.

Last night BD couldn't bash Godrake's castle door, it was immune or something. I had to cast knock for us to get in

Some equality would be nice.

Maybe the same basic path for the approach maps, but using different tilesets.

Oh yeah.. and equal warning for everyone would also be good, as well as equally bashable doors.

On a side note, I think unknockable doors are a good idea. The objective of castles was to increase PvP.. if you can sneak in, then it's not very good for PvP, is it..

Also, I think bosses could use some toughening up. Raiding is too easy.

but not more spells, even less. maybe only increase HP, dont touch AC or people will get more mages for raiding.

Raiding is supposed to be easy if there's no one defending. Boss is tough enough now. Even multipled force of attackers can be pushed of with the boss with good tactics and bit of a luck.
Don't empower boss or raiding as pvp will lose it's meaning and will be just done when there is no one around to defend.

I agree with not knockable doors , its for PvP that castles were re-put in. As for maps Bd and Kb approach are way too long and GoD castle is too large again , new colors and statues but same old map. Order and Legion are the Best imo , you just go in and do what you have to do. No running around for ages and get buff vanish before you even get to defenders.

kb castle, drake, and gd need new layouts. it shouldnt take 10 mins just to get from point A to point B

You forgot to mention GoDrake. You also have a ridiculously flamboyant castle.

But that's an excellent point. Screw the vote. How about the buggers just get their castle fixed for them? How about they have a time limit in which to submit a suitable castle. If they're outta time, or if it's still not suitable.. then they can have a nice HomeBrand, Wal-Mart castle.

The whole point of this pull really was to shorten the run on kb and bd maps, and so everyone got a warning on entry. And i think multiple doors would have been a fun idea, maybe ones that's Knock-able(with more hp) one that's pick-able( with more hp) and a door that cant be picked or knocked (that has less hp). This would make it so a well balanced team would be used. And make it so every-ones charachter has balanced Worth when opening doors.

Well, for starters, get rid of every single one of those useable statues inside. Either make them unuseable, or get rid of them entirely. They cause a whole lotta busyness. Aside from those, though.. the inside seems ok.

The outside has way too many trans, doors and whatnot. Most of them aren't even useful. And maybe cutting down on the size of map and all the parapets and whatnot would help as well.

Yes, unnecessary doors will be removed and map size will be decreased. Also, the fog distance will be decreased.

I also think Bd castle (ontop of smaller maps with the 5 min run around) need a bindstone i wanted to bind there and couldn't find one. ( i could be wrong )
