I don't know the ip, but it's the same as in gamespy.

possibly, but that is a guess based on trace route

You dont have to do the script name anymore which should make it easier.

be sure you have open the http port on your firewall or no one will be able to see the pages

use http://www.myipaddress.com to know what IP to log in to

I have it forwarding, port 80 should be ok but my isp has blocked it

try the following, i did a trick with iis so it uses an alternate port as well now.
http://68.8.3.135:8000/

The ip address will change, but you just change them to whatever the server says in gamespy.

The previous URL format
http://68.8.3.135/index.cfm
is not currently working, and is likely a source of confusion for everyone who's tried to access that site, but hasn't seen this thread thus far.
This format URL is auto generated when you click on the PvP stats link on the forumsite homepage.

Your new format
http://68.8.3.135:8000/
is working still.
Can you eitehr revert to the old URL format, or update the auto-generated PvP stats link so that it generates the new URL format?

This is a seed request, or at least we need his advice.

please note that both http://68.8.3.135:8000/index.cfm and http://68.8.3.135:8000/ work, but a custom port is needed as long as i am on consumer cable. The :8000 needs to be added. The link at the top of the stats page i'd like to know how to update, it's been broken for a long time now.

I actually emailed our forum host today about why the Server Status is not displaying properly. The IP's are both correct but the query fails.

They think it is a firewall issue and will hopefully be opening port 5121 so we can query the server properly.

Regarding :8000, does your cable company not allow you to run a webserver over port 80?

No it does not. Port 80 is blocked, i looked it up on google and it's a known issue with my ISP ( Cox Cable ). I have both 80 and 8000 open, but only 8000 works.

But i like my ISP, much better than comcast lol.

Damn our current web host rocks - 5 hours from emailing them to problem solved. Lazy was overpaying and getting poor service for years with our previous host who kept shutting down the site for bandwidth issues even after they promised him unlimited bandwidth.

Host Gator is the current web host if anyone ever wants a good provider - $80 a year for unlimited bandwidth and excellent service.

haha, I have to say im with Pain on Comcast! im sure virtually any ISP is better than those jackoffs Wink

Comcast is evil and has questionable service (had to deal with their bs for years in the midwest)
