Hi! I made this Troll character. It doesn't regenerate 5 health points every round as it should. I noticed this last night when I tried it out.

I logged out in anger, not knowing what to do. That regen bonus was the whole point with that Troll character.

i believe you get it after lvl16 or 10 or something

no. The regen bonus is broken. The only way to get the regen bonus is to apply it to the skin taking the required lvl above 1 which breaks the subrace. Im going to try through leto to apply it at a different lvl for the second skin. That is the only solution ive been able to come up with. I was going to make a homade ILR but that would have broken the item system we have now.

Mm, what exactly does "skin" mean, Seraphim? ...and how do I apply the regen bonus to it? I havn't been on Dungeon Eternal X before, so I'm unfamiliar with the specific vocabulary here. I already made may troll character, so do I have to delete it and remake it? Don't know what "leto" or what "homade ILR" means either.

a skin is essentially an item that is equipped on your char without taking up any slots that carries the subrace bonuses and penalties
leto is a program that allows the server to permanently edit your char file, this is how subrace stat changes and bonus feats are applied
i have no idea what a irl is or if youl have to remake your char

something to add to skins topic
On some of my chars it makes duplicate skins and a couple of my chars have skins in their inventory that i cant drop or get rid of and all they do is take up space so is there anything to do about those?

use the destroyer tool....as you can see them they are not applied or "equipped" rather to your character.

IRL= Item Level Requirement

Also I belive the regen can be applied to skin that will not require remaking any troll subraced character. However the effect would not take effect till the skin met the IRL for the skin it is on......... 20 IIRC

change the regen to something useful that u can easily script.

generic 5 dr might do same thing

Exuse me! What's this "generic 5 dr might" and why would it "do the same thing"??

5 dr is 5 damage reduction, im not sure what he means by generic. maybe just 5/- dr which means all physical damage is reduced by 5. But that would be alot more powerful than 5 regen

also i think the duplicate skins are caused by the subrace changes. As the new change is applied it dumps the old skin into you invent

sometimes it does but usually they delete themselves. I can apply a new skin at whichever level....just have to code it right which isnt hard to do. Ill look at it tonight i ahve some other subrace stuff to look at as well.

Hm, about the regen be replaced by damage reduction, I personally don't want to see that happen. I sure want the regen to stay, so please don't listen to the hobbit!
