Swearing on shout

Dex has always been a respectable server, but lately some players have been out of control with the shout channel talking about sex in detailed without any regards on who is on. Not only do we have young members but we have women that play and their needs to be some respect. I think it's up to the DM"s online whether they are on as players to take control of situations that occur. DM's have forums that they can post on these problems and let eachother know who they gave warnings to and what not to punish the abusers.

and that goes for any others that try and join lol ya talk crap about GoD all the time that we recruit any one yes might be so but if they dont follow rules etc they are delt with to.

I believe she's trying to bash dirk on this one, which happens a lot in-server. In my own opinion, dirk is a very helpful DM, even when I was still in DV. Dirk and I really disliked each other and he probably still dislikes me up to now, but so far have treated me in a fair manner whenever he is on DM client.

If *cough* virgin(?) *cough* is hinting out that dirk is not a good DM because of the incident that happened. In my very own opinion, if a faction member takes the faction artifact and then goes AFK in loft which makes that artifact totally "unreachable" by anyone is a form of cheating. Anyone can just say "I had to deal with something in real life so I had to go afk (WITH THE ARTIFACT)". It may be true, but what a co-incidence that it happened right after or before he took the artifact. If I was a player and knew something is going on in real life and will have to go AFK soon, why would I pick up our artifact and go afk with it in a non-PVP area?

What dirk did was the right decision, no matter what angle you look at it from. Some people just see this as abuse for the most specific reason that they, themselves, dislike the DM. If I hated a cop and I did something dumb and that cop arrested me, I'd also say that the cop was picking on me and not treating me fairly. Same goes to what happened.

If you think the DM abused his powers during that time then I'm sorry, but an immature player like me(according to ness) must have been thinking in a broader and more mature manner than you Wink

I wasn't even back on the server when it happened but...
Since dirk dm killed a legion member in loft, why not give arti to another legion player?
"Your friend is not here, i slayed him on town, here's the arti, do whatever you want short of sitting in a No-PVP zone."

Simple question, simple answer please.

Don't think dirk and kuja are super best friends lol, I remember when he was first recruited dirk didnt like him .

so kuja isnt really ass kissing really...

As for the afk flag in loft deal, I wasnt involved, but my only comment is:

DM killed the afk guy who DID port to loft WITH flag rather than to altar (if he had time to loft port before his big emergency, he had enough time to go to altar.

Secondly, I had rough still PMing me as we gathered for second raid, we got back to wastes before he was afk, his tells asking what happens if you log with flag or how long u can hold it, THEN HE WENT AFK.

We raided, i told raid mates that rough said he not put flag back (and shout didnt have notice) and we hoped it would be back by the time we hit lair, it wasnt.

Dirk logged DM, killed rough in loft, a C ran up and collected flag, anyone else could have, anyone nearby could've

Also, we DID raid with a FULL party for it, not like we sat in loft and said "dirk grab us the art"

.....

I rest my case. I don't like talking about rough, hes my mate, but thats how it all happened.

Kuja belongs to flame board period.
And about that flag thing...its about everybody know Dirk wouldnt log a dm to kill any C memebers if that person for some reason was afk in loft. Dont even try to say he would cos everybody knows he wouldnt.

This is def out of Topic ........... as for complaining about the Flags in Loft not moving , thats def not legal to me and so a FACTIONLESS ( mostly Jedi the nub ) shouldnt have the right to get into others castle to take arts just to free them. Hes factionless , that means NO ACCESS TO CASTLES. Castles are for Factions War

About swearing on shouts , well its mostly Shillow/Lazy's decision to make if legal or not , what should be done.

True, but I would say all dm's wouldn't kill their own faction for that either.

so I am now stating "AS A FACTIONLESS PLAYER" that dirk is a fair and good DM.
