AC not stacking right

I have a belt with plus 3 deflection ac. When I equip it, I get a message saying it wont stack with allready equipped items/spells. The thing is that I dont have any items or spells with deflection ac equipped so I'm not sure what the issue is. Is this a bug or am I missing something obvious?

To figure the issue out, I took off all equipment and rested to remove buffs. I then put on the belt and still got the message. I'm a lvl 19 arcane scholar with a level of shadowdancer thrown in.

Does your AC actually change ?

And have you tested that your visible AC on your character sheet is indeed what it is vs monsters.

( Sometimes the bugs are just the feedback is wrong, does not sound right though )

Char sheet AC bugs seem to be common and maybe lag related?

I know I've taken all items off in the past on various chars and magically had 20+ ac neked without much dex and other ac bonuses and when u place ur ac items back on it doesn't go up the complete amounts just what is missing.

Never tested vs monsters but I think I've read somewhere it's the Char Sheet that bugs, not ur actual AC.

Well I was talking to him when he found out about it. Basically he would be wearing no gear, and his AC would be 2 higher than it should've been. Then, we he put on his belt, it gave him the message of already having deflection AC on, and his AC went up by 1, so something was giving him 2 deflection AC, even after he had rested, and as far as I know he didn't have any rings on (for sure didn't have a helmet or cloak that I could see).

Read my first post again Emp - it's a char sheet bug that can't be exploited, because as u put ur items back on it doesn't stack back up it only replaces what ur missing. Not to mention is prolly is fine when ur actually fighting and only shows the wrong value on the char sheet.

Did u forget to take ur meds this week or something?

you dumbarse, he doesn't re-equip and get more ac, he re-equips and gets what he should be getting from the items some things don't add up to what they should and some others add to more but in the end he doesn't get more ac than what he's physically got on his items.
