Yep,

Wizards get Nekro Staff,
Wizards are also by far the most powerful casters (pure or not) on DeX..

Why shouldn't Sorc/Druid/Cleric get one too?

This idea is not to Overpower anything.... Just to add a little spice to less common casters....

PLEASE post what you are thinking for ideas...


Such as Druid staff giving a bonus to Quillfire
Or Sorc staff with Bonus slots or whatever..

I know some players have thoughts on this, so post away!

How about restoring the majority of the spells to their original description and recalculating pure bonuses to even poop out.Something like 1bonus every 13lvls+1if schooled and removing pm from pure list. I could care less about any type of staff item being brought into the mod while their is no variety or skill required to play a caster atm.

I haven't pvped with my druid yet so i don't have a formed opinion, druids seem pretty strong as it is however.

first of i would make pure caster dc equal as of right now Wiz get +8 and sorc/druid get +4

nekro staff
remove wiz spell slots
make usable bye wiz/sorc
neg dmg to spells (same as current)
disc + 6
fort -5
cannot be used with shield

Natures Revenge (wand or staff)
usable druid/cleric
sonic or acid dmg to spells ( like nekro neg)
spell foc conj
animal emph +5
will - 3
fire vul 10 %

dont drop wiz to +4, increase other classes to +8

ooooo 8D i love it zod. They seem fairly balanced to me and not over powerful. I agree though if bonus gets changed it will be 8 for all instead of 4 for all.....i can put a poll up about it. Would everyone like that?

That nekro staff will just make wiz worse if flame arrow stays nerfed....

50% posi vuln and -5 fort in trade for +6 disc isn't so great, but you are right zod, nekro staff needs changing.

I think that flame arrow needs to be unnerfed, if mage nerfing is to happen, it should be on a scale, not spell by spell, essentially ruining builds.

for the staff, -5 fort is a bit harsh imo..

What do you suggest zod?

I can consider the flame arrow. Morg as im sure i might have mentioned before there is actually no way to over all nerf the mages. The bonus is added on a spell to spell basis otherwise i would do it. soooo ill leave it up to you guys to decide on how to work with what we have and make a good balanced necro.

reason why i said -5 fort is a huge bump but giving 6 disc and alt. dmg is also. no pos vul though so i think it equals out, no need for elemental vul when u cant use it with a shield. ie for hp sorcs or wiz pally pm's

same with druid branch i would make it sonic/fire though since quill fire is already acid and wis adds to will so -3 will sounds equiv fire vul since forest and fires dont mix to well Smile
