NWN2: Can Divine Favor be made Persistent?

With the Persistent Spell Metamagic Feat, standard NWN2 seems to allow Divine Favor (normally 60sec duration) to be made persistent, i.e. 24h duration. At max level, this adds +5 attack bonus and 5 magic damage to the caster's weapon. The persistent spell takes a level 7 slot.

I'm tempted to get Persistent Spell on my next level, but I suspect this may have been (understandably) nerfed. So is this spell still persistable and will remain so, or have I just doomed it with this post? Embarassed

I don't see any reason to nerf it, it might just get dispelled anyway.

You should save yourself a lot of time: Download a test mod (from IGN Vault) and build it there first.

Its been a while since I did that in order to test persistnat spell, though I think I found that divine favor was not available as a persistnet spell. Though that was probably back in 1.02 or so, so they may have updated the list.

I exported my DEX char, loaded a simple module and gave myself a million XP so I could level all the way to 20. After getting it, Persistent Spell is available for Divine Favor (normally lvl1) at spell lvl7 in my nwn2 with latest patch.

For 15th level I chose Silent Spell though. There is very little except Divine Favor that is useful Persisted, all the rest lasts long enough anyway. I'll have to think this over.
