Bad lag

Hello, i played on the nwn for more than 3 years and all goes smooth(no lag, no crashes) ,but on the new dex2
i log to the server with 160ping ,but when i start playing i start lagging, and no i dont have anything in my override folder ,is this cos i live out of the US? does other players experience the same thing(players that live outside the US)??BTW i live in israel.

got some strong system specs :
intel[R] core[R]2 Quad CPU
Q6600 @ 2.4ghz, 2GB of RAM
video card: Nvidia Geforce 8600GT
latest drivers.....

Unfortunately, NWN2 has been much more susceptible to lag thus far, and individual client performance can affect server performance. With each patch they are attempting to improve this issue, as it is the biggest complaint about NWN2 from the player community.

You don't need to read any further than the top post as it is updated with all verified information.

I especially recommend reading and applying the TweakGuidesTweakingCompanion. To apply it the first time, its a good half a day's investment of time. Then you can maintain according to the schedule in there about once every month or three, depending on how you use your system. I just did a maintenance according to this guide and agains notice excellent improvements.

The server is located in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

I know of two other players who live in Israel who used to play on this server with little problems (they just couldn't put up with the bugs back then). We have regular players from Portugal, Poland, Sweden, maybe more Europeans than Americans? And plenty of Australians too.

According to where you live your 160ping is normal.
