Factions?

I read something about factions. How do I join a faction and is there a list of available factions? what can I do in a faction (faction warfare?)

The 4 Factions are - Order of the Holy Light (the "good" guys stopping newbie killings etc), The Dark Legion (the "bad" guys, killing everyone), True Balance (the neutral guys who bring balance in anyway possible) and Ciphers (the evil faction that doesn't really exist but they're coming back apparently) there is also Triad an unofficial faction but they don't really take people in.

You join them by speaking to one of their Commanders or their General (you can tell Commander or General by their white millitary symbol under their feet). What you can do in the faction is up to their General and the faction you decide to join.

Now now, you have the descriptions all wrong. There is Order, who doesn't stop nublet slaying but spends their time hunting Legion and Triad using the nublets as a cover for their single minded evil plans (we are on to your little scheme, and it is destined to fail), TB hangs on Order's coattails like lost puppies (on the payroll methinks we know how they are suckers for chocalate covered green beans), Cipher is just on vacation, and Legion doesn't kill everyone mercilessly - We take protection vigs happily. Give us a cut of your loot drop at a camp and that Legion member will leave you alone for a reset. Other arrangements can be made on a case by case basis, such as payment for buffs, assistance with killing a particularly troublesome mob, or inclusion in our faction party for safety and protection. We can often times be hired for hits. :diablo:

Oh yes, Triad. Think they are a cult, like the moonies, Manson's Family, or those purple Koolaid drinking fools.

LOL that's the funniest thing I've ever read.

Ok for starters Legion hardly help their own members let alone some random noob on the server, if you want some extra gold or some build advice speak to TB or maybe Order, I'm sure they'd help you out.

Also to let you know TB are not allied nor do we look to Order for help/protection for some green beaned covered chocolate thingys (LOL wtf heh), Order begged us to play friendly with them....hmm.....ok well that's not true but we're neutral to Order we help them if they're outnumbered - we offered this deal to Legion (as we are neutral, bringing the balance) but their oh so intelligent General agreed then started a war the minute I logged off. Ciphers has had the longest vacation I've ever heard of, how long since the last time you saw more than one person with "Cipher" in their name? 4, 5 maybe 6 months?

As for the Legion member leaving you alone if you share loot with him, that may be true but more than likely he'll tell a buddy where you are so you're still dead....don't trust an evil guy, they're evil for a reason Evil

Your description of Triad I'll accept lol...not sure about the purple Koolaid though, wtf is that...heh.

Bug, you are a very confused individual.

Mr. Snot happens to be correct in his descriptions of the factions, and I'm not jest saying that because we are in the same faction.

I'll make it simple;

Order of the Holy Light = Shady/Evil (there highest kills are 1325 Unfactioned kills - next highest are 551 Legion kills) We are on to you.

True Balance (Blue Order) = Order's Puppets Happy Minions

The Dark Legion = Greedy/Evil

Cipher = On a Very Long Vacation (somebody please join cause i don't have anything else to say about them)

Triad = Cult/Evil

As for helping noobs....sadly Legion helps noobs the most, TB would be 2nd, Cipher 3rd, and Triad and Order tie for 4th. Now, i tell you why;

Order has the idea in their heads that they are the best and noobs are a waist of their time. PDT_Aliboronz_02

Triad don't say anything unless all 3 are on at the same time. :RIP:

Cipher needs members and it's leader is a good guy and all, but never online to recruit. :hippy-flower:

Legion helps noobs to populate the server full of noobs so it more fun to go on killing rampages. Cause it really suxs going on a raid when there is nobody on to kill Evil

Lol, I'll take that as a joke cuz I see some legion members are still unhappy with us killing them like mosquitos...

If ur a newbie and need some help just try asking any guy with 20 lvl char on server, most will probably help ya, if he/she wont, then ask someone else.

Y'see, being the "good" faction, that should be YOU guys helping to educate new players. YOU should be buffing them, covering lowbie PvP zones so they may level unmolested, etc etc etc. But you do not do this. It is sad really, a product of mismanagement, that a Legion member has to point this out to you. No this isn't an RP server, but certainly BECAUSE it isn't an RP server you should quit calling yourselves the "good" guys. Call yourselves Order of Just Another Faction Prejudiced Against Legion, cuz I fail to see where the Holy Light crap comes from except maybe with sanctimonious, holier than thou style of play HAR! At least we are not prejudiced. We'll kill ANYONE.

Just remember, my homegirl Rosa Parks wouldn't sit at the back of the bus, either! WE WILL OVERCOME! DARK POWAH! :respekt:

That's exacly what we do Joe and we've been doing that a long b4 u even start playing on dex. ATM most of our members is just w8ing for server update to Mob, so we are not online a lot and it will stay this way till exp pack.
As for me dex got very unbalanced with no ecl cap, so i just w8 till things get back to normal.

As for u Joe i dunno is it just u or every legion member that thinks "every other faction hates me", I mean come on now, prejudiced????? U kidding ??? Lol, now thats something i wasnt expect to hear from ya. Ur a pker and we are killing pkers, thats our job on dex, geez, i though thats easy to understand. We kill everyone that we consider to be a pker, its not just legion, so once again, stop whining.

K tranq i'll stir them up a bit.

Well we do stop a lot of noob slaying, i mean, you guys never log on when we're on, we can sit in loft and do our jobs just fine.

Why is the server full of complainers now? Because legion didn't do their damn job. If they pk'd well enough, the server would mostly be determined players who can handle it.

Uhm, we were at war with TB not too long ago...

Recruit all the noobs you see, and your faction will end up as weak as legion is now.

yeah, i actually had one legion guy pm me and ask me to leave him alone cos he was in a party, lol, i mean when do legion leave us alone? as far as i can see when joe gets pk'd he then resorts to flaming and insults, if you cant handle it leave your faction or find a pink and fluffy server where theres no pvp, or do like your other faction mates and build a drow caster, then you actually may win a pvp

This is no flame but the drow excuse is getting old. Maur himself uses a drow soc. How come you don't have a problem with that? Is it cause he is order? He uses his drow everytime he logs. I guess that is why you wouldn't even say gf when me and smoke fought you in moon and won twice? Was it because we were drow...and maur as well? I help more lowbies than any member on order or tb. Now i also pk them more than anyone but hey as seril said thats my job.
