NWN2: Illegal weapons?

I was browsing the forum and there was this post:

I'm not sure if I understood this correctly: this means that all weapons may only have 1 type of elemental damage on them? I'm using a weapon with both 1d4 acid and 1d4 electrical at the moment (crafted).

To my knowledge, we don't have a problem with the weapons themselves in DEX2, at least not yet. Refer to this thread for reference on damage limits for weapons in DEX2:

OK, so those weapons are still good. I assumed the crafters would deny to add illegal properties to weapons.

what does he mean by onhit? like you can only have fire 2d6? not like 2d6 fire, cold, negative? or you can only hit once or something, can someone spell this out for me please
