CD Key possible issue

Ok so I reloaded my computer this morning and when I went to reinstall NWN2 I realized that my original CD was nowhere to be found so I have to go buy a new copy....no biggie its my fault but that is going to change my CD key I think. I still have the original MotB cd but not the original NWN2 CD.

Is this going to affect my characters on DEX and if so how do I get it fixed.....thanks

Reloaded as clear it out completly?
There is nwncdkey.ini file in atari/neverwinter nights 2 folder so unless u uninstalled it already u have cdkey there, oh, to avoid that kind of future problems copy that file to portable drive or sth and keep it in safe place:)

Yea I deleted the partition windows was on and recreated it
