Lag out of nowhere?

I've been playing DeX perfectly fine on my comp for quite some time, and today it just decided, "hey, I'm going to lag absolutely horribly all the time now."

Everyone else isn't experiencing it, so it is on my end, any idea why this is happening?

I'm literally getting maybe 30 seconds of playability, and then an equal amount of 30 second lag spikes

A little bit, it wasnt to noticeable unless pvping, which is of course the most important time for lag to not be happening.

I think it's because of the update, the game is still adjusting itself. Is your lag all the time like that no matter where you are and what you are doing??

I only noticed some lag in loften and that's cause everyone is in there. I dumbed down my settings a bit to run on "Fast" instead of "High" and that helped a good bit.

So maybe that might work for you too, try adjusting your settings.

I doubt we're privileged enough to have compensating AI on DeX. That's called "bad code".

It lags when there 45+ ppl on and in a party mostly. It's server side nothing to do with the code..

100% sure about that? New update with new scripts, calls, references, etc and people complain about latency afterward. Who knows though; with Shillow's fluctuating ISP performance it could be either or both.

dex has had more people on it lately since wipe, its been around 25-35 people at peaks, ive seen now at least 40 on most of the time and even over 50 after this wipe
