Sounds good, but one other issue....
More and more exploiting/deathlogging/runporting/monks because people don't want to die.
And every fight will be a gank.... |

i voted yes, but you need to remember that people can just make new accounts with new keys and farm like crazy
People will exploit it.
It should also be disabled in arenas and it should check for faction kills, like if killer and killed are in the same faction. |

I like shillows idea about 1/2 value decrease every time you die. Now if you make it so every time you log, you are worth full points again, logging would be discouraged because doing so would mean you are worth more for your enemies without any benefit for yourself.
Besides, running reduces the chance of making a kill and getting points yourself. All you can gain by running, is the chance for your opponent to die. If you die, you are only worth half points next time you are killed but if you kill your killer you get full points (maybe even give a small revenge bonus). |

Would need to be empty server. If you see suspicious server shouts and a lot of relogging, then ss and DM can reset their counter to 0 or something. |

Lvl 40 killing a lvl 40 would get 10 points

Lowbie PvP would be worth points, but only a few. No insane amounts of points for killing higher levels, and system is based on 40 pvp so killing with < lvl 40 will get you less points than killing with 40s. To prevent exploiting add a 5 minute timer before killed PC's are worth points again.
And imho, weapons should stay farm-only. I think this honor system should give prizes similar to kewpies. Perhaps 200 points is worth one kewpie? There are never any tournaments so the chances to get rare dmg stones or spell stones are next to 0. This would give the same effect. Maybe add a nice factor that in a spree kills are worth 1.5 times normal point value. |
acctually my thoughts were to have damage stone also cost tolkens. we could maybe even put kewpys for tolkens but I dunno there or maybe make them worth xp for s certain number of tolkens? there are alot of possibilties with this idea.
and the spree idea is good but would not work unless it is a high lvl spree not a spree of lowbie killing. |

Points rewarded can be greater in certain area's....say faction castle's......boss lair's.....prarries.....lvling area's.....SP
and so on. |

points won should be shared with party rounded up cus otherwise healer will never get points and AA's would have so many points that they would have full pvp armor/weapons with like 5-10 big wars |
so a lvl 40 killing another 40 would get 5 points first kill , 4 for second , 3 for third , 2 for fourth and 2 again for fifth... and so on
a lvl 20 killing a 40 would give 2 x 5 = 10 points on first kill 8 on second and so on player
and for a little more reward winning vs a really good build/player , there should be some kind of rank system

means a super uber build with very good player with like 173kills and no death would give 10 points on killing to lvl 40
some kind of healer without kills and/or a total noob would get 5/0.5 = 2.5 on first kill on lvl 40
(getting someone with score x2 is like impossible)

and maybe so lowbies wont just run around in prayries trying to get easy points with a lvl 9 imploder *cough* getting killed by a player would make you loose 1 of the reward badges

I would suggest to work out some details and then Post to have a testing period with this system lets say about a week and have the members post their inputs on improvements or exploits etc.. just to see if it will do well with Dex. The idea seems like it would be really cool, but with all things you don't really know till you test it. Then if it's too much exploit or whatever you can take it off, And think of something else to implement. |

less exploiting chance with 2nd CD key and we have now 3 good factions + sole. and some of them even cry if you kill a 40 by accident or in a fair fight
and all 4 factions wont kill factionless lowbies anyways... |

oio i love your parts of your system. I dont care for the points though. No offense guys but giving you tokens would make it a lot easier to get the merchant working. I wanna get this in asap. If im lucky i will have it finished today. and oio i like how you divided that up sorta lol....i like shillows cut in half every 5 times a kill of same person per reset.
i do like your bonus for killing someone higher than you killed/killer = ____ rounded to nearest whole number then multiply by normal token amount recieved. so say you are 20 killing a 40 you would get 2 X 4 for the kill because 40/20 = 2 * 10% of 40 which is 4
i think the bonus should be on a 10% of what you kill basis honestly. your 40 killing a 40 get 4 tokens, you are 40 killing a 35 you get 4 tokens, you are 40 killing a 33 you get 3 tokens (rounding up and down if you didnt notice)
SOOO overall this is what i think it should be
you get 10% of the player level you kill rounded up or down to nearest whole for the first 5 kills of the same person
cut in 1/2 for 6-10
cut in 1/2 again for 11-15
per reset
if you kill someone higher than you then its Killed/Killer = ___, ___x 10% normal bonus = token amount
The ranking style would can definetly look into i like that would anyone else like your bonus dependant on your record?
Should not get token from tourny type areas
should not get token from killing faction mate
max level difference should be 10-15
