Seraph. Look at the result of the vote. There is absolutely no reason you should be changing ANYTHING at this moment judging from this poll. The RDD poll however, has a clear result. But all that says is that RDD needs to be changed, not what it needs to be changed to. The RDD changes proposed here aren't very well thought through, because an RDD, that already gains +4 disc just from taking 10 levels should not get additional disc.
*Please make changes one at a time and don't make the same mistakes Arres made*
On a side note, the main reason I voted a big fat NO on this poll is that the levels at which classes are getting bonuses according to this scheme aren't coherent to the levels at which they get feats. On a second note, some of the simply *aren't* needed (ranger for example, is fine as is). Thirdly, they aren't all very balanced (bg/wm getting bonus dmg, rdd getting disc, dd ele resist still being slight too much in my eyes, prc's peaking at 25-30 lvls).
Sorry for venting btw, but I'm worried about you doing things too hasty. Also sorry Adonis for the lack of constructive critisism but after reading the last couple posts I'm worried someone just set a time bomb. |

Ok having cooled down a bit, I think you have some nice idea's:
- Improved BG summon, possibly more with epic feats
- Better ranger pets, growing with level
- Assassin conceal/weapon coating
Also I think some people here post some really nice suggestions about when to peak ability bonuses. I think what people are trying to say is to not give bonuses progressively, but skip an iterations or two and stack more bonuses to a certain level. I have mixed feeling about it because it will result in less build diversity (builds always with x or y amount of prc n). Soooo, I think token bonuses should be spread out to allow for a constant gain every x (3-5 depending on the class) levels. This way taking 26 levels over 22 won't give bigger bonuses compared to taking 22 over 18.
Hope I made myself understandable, and if not just say it and I'll explain further. |

I think the only "pet" classes should be pure druid, palemaster, and maybe conj mage. |

If the idea is to increase diversity, making feats/abilities useless is the wrong way to go.
You don't need to give a balor to a BG, as someone else suggested (in this or other thread), just add something interesting that could spice pvp, improve leveling or give you funny ways to pk lowb... erm i mean interact with the other players. I used Succubus and Doom Knight with success since baba buffs them too. They only sucked when i hit gnolls.
Give ranger a better summon based on animal empathy?
Assassin poisons are a must have. |

Idk someone else come up with some ideas to discuss I'm not feeling very creative atm.
I see what you mean Flel as far as a slot on bonuses, it will kill variety to an extent. But as far as that goes at least people would be using the classes as per tokens original design(although piss poorly thought out when implemented). |

BG's are a pet class from a role playing perspective though. There are even epic feats specifically to improve the pet. I think it should be worth at least something. Or perhaps a pet that gives the player bonuses while it is alive, and makes the BG go into a sort of "frenzy" when it dies. Or maybe a pet that can buff the BG and other party members (through conversation) much like a high level caster can, but is still worthless in combat. A straightforward combat pet would be be funny too but something different would bring some nice surprises.
As for ranger pets, I try to compare them to wizard familiars. They should be just as good at least which means they need slight buffing, but not too much. |

I think that the ranger class token needs a little bit more buffing on the AC AB compared to others its just not that grate like the blackguard for example gets 8 ab and 7 ac at level 30 while the ranger gets 5 5 at level 35 |
