Requested screenshot of visual effect / aura

There are at least a few spells which lost visual affects (during the migration from NWN1 to NWN2) that would be improved if we restore the visual effects. Thus, we are currently in process of creating some spell effects for DEX2,

I am having trouble remembering what the visual effect / aura for Invisibility Purge looked like, when it is cast on the caster (as opposed to it be cast on an area). I am thinking that it was a circular pattern, centered on the caster, with a radius of about 10 feet (~ 3.3 meters), and within that radius, all the textures appeared slightly faded. Is this right?

Could someone from DEX1 please provide a screenshot of the Invisibility Purge aura? Thanks

never seen an aura of invis purge. just the begining of spell is braided white dots going up.

Not sure if its appearance was changed there, but on BoW it's a big green ring. Like battletide aura, but bigger.

Thanks for the replies,

in NWN2,

it can also be cast as an AOE, in which case it is instantaneous (no duration) and the effect is similar to Melinda's screenshot

or it can be cast on caster as a buff, in which case the duration is 10 rounds per level, and no aura.

Sounds like its the same (and that the aura I recall seeing was just the custom visual effect of that particular server).

Well, I suppose making something similar to BoW's visual effect would be a good idea, so that it will be familiar to a lot of players then. Did they make the radius of their visual (green ring) match the radius of the spell effect (so that players use it to ship away at mantles)?

It went through mantles, didn't use them up.

oh yeah, I was thinking of silence again

well, might still make the visual aura with same radius as the purge effect, just so that potential victims will see how far they need to stay in order to keep from having their concealment stripped. Thanks again for the replies.

its green ... huge size (like dragon fear aura)

ive always thougt invis purge was an aoe not an aura
