Er.. Arres raises a coupla good points.. as long as the stripper is modified [giggle]

But basically.. to avoid any heart attacks and unnecessary capital letters at a later date, it would be nice to give a heads-up before derging the server. And yes, derging is a made-up word. It basically means to make big changes to. I suggest you all start using it to I can claim to have invented a word.

Well usually the victim's level gives away where they were, but only experienced DeXers know areas by level.

well, if a new player was really concerned about where someone was pked, then all they have to do is ask. that has always worked fine in the past.

#1 Arres you changed to resting to accommodate the fact that all you do is play mages.

#2 Why are you changing a mod that, at the time, had full players. There were 29 people on the other day, i think that shows the mod is fine as it is.

#3 All of these issues are arising from messing with the scripts, i am willing to bet that if you stop changing stuff, stuff will stop breaking.

#4 I understand that you are trying your best, but honestly, this mod only needs very minor tweaks for the pvp, dont go changin the base of the mod by changing rest system, etc.

My two cents.

One thing for the buff rod that stops mage empowerment.

Firstly, think of the best use for buff rod? Buffing before a 5v5 war, things like that, Make fountain back to how it was and only allow 1 use of the rod per rest.

Fast buff rod should only be used to speed up pvp preparation, not to allow mages to slip away for 20 seconds to come back fully buffed.,

No way should this buff rod be used more than once before you die(in a pvp situation)

We will change the fountain to instead of a 4 hour limit between rests 2 hours. Its a bit better that way and decently balanced. We will add in the script for rod an fountain one use per fountain visit is that satisfying?

No it's not. Stop trying to fix what isn't broken, on all fronts. I appreciate your work and your zeal, but all this twiddling of stuff isn't necessary. You reverted dex back to it's best stage, now just fix bugs and perhaps make very small changes with consent from the community (i.e. polls). That's all that's needed.

There's more people that wants the rod than people who don't.

If a mage is trying to run away and rest/rebuff, just chase him lol, he won't be able to rest. Also when the new 3-sec transition timer gets scripted, he won't even be able to transition out.

Seems quite American to me. Seems to me when large killings are happening that's all you hear on the news.
