1. get rid of the guard in loft (or move him closer to trogs so he doesn't say something 4 times to every lowbie going to baba. Also lower his dmg to like 10 or find out how to make him not attack friendlies.)

I hate to bring up the past, but, if i recall correctly an "attempt to spice up the server" by lazy, aka CEP, ruined what was a fine and full, you had to wait to get on, server. Fast buff rod was alright, but if you have to tweak the resting system to change it i say forget it. Here is my list of important things that need to be changed.

1. Remove Exp penalty.
2. Change the faction token port system back to where you can port even if enemies are near.
3. Remove guard from loft, or atleast stop him from spamming that stupid chat.
4. Make longer resets.
5. Do whatever needs to be done to get the bank workin again

By spicing up we just meant modernize the script. The rests didnt have to change to go with the buff rod but i have heard many many people complain about how long the rest wait is and how they ahve to go back and forth to the fountain all of the time.

1. working on that as we speak
2.will fix it thats easy to take care of
3.I want to leave the guard in but would anyone mind if it doesnt say anything at all lol.
4.That is within the database issue. we still have to switch them. When i run the mod for testing at my house the 3 hour reset works fine but i guess there is a compatibility issue with the mod and the db. Shillow if you can get ahold of seed we need to switch that out asap.
5. Bank works its just that when we switch the databases if you have anything in the bank you will lose it. I warned of this so you can use it at your own risk. Right before we switch it i will log in and announce its being switched and to get stuff out fast, but when we go to switch we dont want anyone to complain about losing stuff because they were prewarned.

You guys as we are going through fixing codes to make them work or more efficient and as we switch through maps we are finding stuff to change or to add. Please just take it in stride. Its not going to affect your server experience because the fixes are the first priority. Now that I know another concern we will focus there but when its fixed we will go back to adding some newer stuff in.

i'd like to see the following.

1. Change Lowbie LvLing areas to the oldschool maps. Loft River, Orcs, etc.

2. Add the Abyss, including the Succubi area (thanatos), Add Timeworn Crypts for 30-to 38 cleric/mage lvling. This is a Undead lvling area, that you can mass spawns and use sunburst, undead to death, or mass heal to lvl up. Very important if you want to lvl clerics and mages.

3. Get rid of the tree trunk with scrolls, no point in hiding scrolls out there.

4. Up XP per kill to something like 750xp and make it not take so damn long for lowbies to get max XP. You don't get max till like lvl 25.

i think its ok. some pk and pvp happen there because lvl40 go to buy scrolls and then pks some lowbies at ettins.

Now you understand why I changed the rest system. With 5 time per foutain visit, you can actually cast offensive spells to level up. Then after every rest, you don't have to waste time rebuffing yourself since you got the new fast buff rod! Wink

If we can find these maps we will put them in as we can...I never saw them before so i have no idea what they would be otherwise.

If you can find a old 20/10 dex mod, they would be on there... they were taken out when Seed took out 60% of the old dex maps.

The Mage buffer in Meneldur doesn't give GMW, it just takes your money.

lol so true... maybe should even higher FoD DC with 900, so that mages are uber even if played by a total retard.
