OK I WIPED IT

Ok kids I wiped the vault and the banked xp and gold the old version of the mod is up but it still is called cep2 untill I can get someone to help me with a small problem with the mysql shortcut.

And do not name your new characters any name you used before the wipe as I was unable to wipe the entire data base so it will start you somewhere like myth if you do lol

OK AND THERE WILL BE NO XP REIMBURSEMENT!!

OK ONE MORE THING
I am going to take dex down for a while late tonight so I can install the software for the dsl and change it over to the dsl connection to hopefully get some better performance from the connection.
It should only take me 30 minutes or so and should be after midnight my time.

Is it still having crazy crash issues as of now?

Shillow I will be on later but i think I know how to get rid of all of the character names will have to look at creation date in the registery and then delete any from before today. That should fix it but im not positive. Let me know what you think.

QUESTION! to all

If you are not reimbursed a piece of your exp and gold period as in if that were to not happen at all would you leave the server? I need to know so I can talk it over and figure out what we are going to do.

I think the most logical thing to do would be to reimburse xp a week or so after the new mod has been up. Let the people that really enjoy the race to 40 have that fun, and then let the people who do to rl commitments can't relevel all their chars be able to come and pvp. That way dex casts the largest net to recapture its player base

i hate leveling, but i cant stand getting reimbursed 40s and then stand on myth doing nothing... so i prefer level, it only takes 5-10 hours to get a 40 anyhow :/

I feel like reinstalling just to exploit gold so I can be the richest player on DEX. Then I'll give it all away and quit agian.

The race to 40 is so you can be dominant and pk the hell out of other people and shut down lvling its not like there is any sense of achievment. If you could get a free 40 week later id just wait a week for a free 40 cos lvling blows. Having any free 40's would suck any fun from a wipe.

I understand your reasoning, but these are not typical times. Dex needs to cast the largest net possible to attract players. You may wait a week, but others may not. And really, the race to 40 lasts about 24 hours, after that the most peeps that want one, have a 40 ...
