NWN2: Modified Subrace ECL

Changes have been made to the ECL of the following subraces:

Code:

Aasimar +2
Tiefling +2
Drow +4
Duergar +2
Svirfneblin +5
Air Genasi +1
Earth Genasi +1
Fire Genasi +0
Water Genasi +0

All subrace and multi-class XP penalties have been removed.

Just to make sure.. ECL is the level adjustment, right?

Lol, yes. ECL = Effective Class Level

so does this mean, that it is possible with ALL races to become max lvl now ? (30)

or is it still not possible with fx Genasi, asaamir etc.. ?????

no that means your e.g. drow character which have +4 ECL will count as a lvl 30 character @lvl 26 because there are a maximum achievable xp set on the server

And what value is set for maximum XP?
Can drow level up to real 30 lvl?

435K. And no. Max level is 30 - ECl. E.g., a Drow can reach 30 - 4 = Level 26 maximum.

Is this still valid or have there been some changes?

The Drow and Deep Gnome have been changed to 3 and 4 respectively.

Can you please change Aasimar ELC to +1 instead of +2? I feel like every time I want to make an Aasimar build on Dex2 I get turned off by that +2 ELC. The reason is that at level 28 you get an ability bonus, and on level 29 you can get a feat, but since Aasimar can't level to 29 many of the builds I try to make simply can't function because of it. For example, I'n thinking to make a paladin/DC/weapon master. This is an example of where Aasimar can come in handy, for it's near impossible to make a this build with Epic Divine Might and 7 levels of WM, unless you can get to level 29.

I don't see why there have to be such harsh ELC penalties, since there's hardly any PVP on Dex2 anyway.

Edit: I retrat what I have said about ELC. I realised that WM sucks, when i looked at all the feats it gets I realised it's a waste of feats and it's better to just probably go Human 7 Paladin/10 DC/1 bard/10 RDD. In which case I'm not fussy about ELC.

I am still of the opinion that there shouldn't be such harsh ELC.

They get their ecl due to receiving +2 on two abilities without having any minuses, not to mention their other resistances and abilities.

Dex 2 is PVP based and thus it's required to put limitations on 'better' races. Just because there isn't much pvp atm due to a low playerbase doesn't mean we tamper with the current balance.

How are you going to go Paladin and Bard in the same build since bard has an alignment requirement of Chaotic and Paladin has an alignment requirement of Lawful Good
