NWN2 :: HELP US Reduce Server Lag and Crashes

Two features in patch 1.12 are initiatives aimed at further reducing transition crashes.

Regarding number 1, I haven't added that Shortcut Transitions=1 command into the ini yet, as I am concerned what "portion of the transition code" will be bypassed, and also whether having it on would hamper the efforts of number 2. The issue has been brought up in Bioware forums and I'll be monitoring there to determine whether we should add that line to our ini.

I have contacted Rob McGinnis and let him know that the DEX 2 community will be supporting them on this, and anticipate that they will collect our reports from that thread regularly, PROVIDED THAT WE POST THEM.
This is extremely important. OEI has asked for our help and are allocating resources for this, so lets please take advantage of this situation.

I haven't had time to read through this yet, but have noticed that it was just recently updated (March 2008). I think that the author continuously updates it upon verifying significant improvements. Most likely would be worthwhile to read through.
