Adamantine Surt's Sword

I tried to modify it using the crafter but it is not allowed.

Feel that it is a waste to put 2d4 fire dmg on such a sword. Can make it flexible for people to modify it and at the same time remain the material type as adamantine?

No boss drop can be modified ,why should this be special?

It is a good sword ,i use one myself on a fighter char i have.

Yes well by crafting ur own weapon u can it to 20 lvl and with +5 ab and adamanite isnt that great IMO.

Yes exactly. Should make boss drop modifiable so they are something that really useful. If not it is a piece of junk only... might as well don't make it drop.. Sad

Well not exacly. U dont need melee char to use a sword. For instance if u r making an eldrich knight ur melee dmg will suck like hell but when u fighting other mage and make him run out of most dang. spells then u can go for true strike and adamantine weapon will cut though premonition making enuf dmg to kill him.
I mean dont get me wrong here but maybe u should play a bit longer to figure out most of possible uses for weapons, spells and classes b4 u ask for changes.

The get to shadows dark and make yourself a positive or negative dmg sword.

But i suppose you never been there ,since you evidently spend all your time in the forums asking for changes to benefit you existing char.

Shadows is a fun place! You have to fight your way 5 levels to kill the boss to get a positive or negative stone. Note: The boss will drop other stones like fire, electric, acid, etc. So you have to kill the boss many many many times to get random luck to get a negative or positive stone.

The other level will will drop stones equivalent to the elemental level like Fire level will drop fire stones.

The sword itself is Lv19. I don't think u can add anymore dmg to it by dmg stone. A crafted weapon can never be adamantine, correct me if im wrong. Dex1 got dmg stone too, it is not a new thing to me Razz

I don't think it is accurate to base on such an extreme case like how eldrich knight can kill a mage with such extreme measures and to say the sword is useful.

I ask for changes because i experienced it and feel that it is a need to change. It will benefit everybody who have such an item and not only to myself.

Anyway i only give suggestion here. I will continue to give more when i experience more along the way. Pls don't mistaken me as complaining. thx Smile
