NWN2 :: Player Statistics Website and Vault Maintenance

I found the issue. It had to do with multiple CD-Key/Accounts. I had to clear the old records (but also cleared some valid ones - it's 6am here and no coffee). After the next time you log in (to recreate the link) you should be able to do this edit.

I've just logged in to do this and I'm not on the list nor are a few others and I can't demote/promote anyone...is this because you cleared some Valid people, one being me?

I think Seed meant log in on server, not website, then link from ur cd key to sth(rank, function) will be recreated and bam u can do whatever u need to do.

I did both...

Will do both again now though.

Just logged into game...but it's not in-game that I have a problem with, I need to take away someones Commander position but he won't be logging back in game for a while so I can't take it away that way.
Hatred told me I could do it with the Player Stats page...which doesn't seem to be working.

It's definately fixed now. I logged in and was able to Demote Melac to Grunt and then Promote him to Commander without issues.

The issue came up from having more than one CDKey accessing an Account.

How much complaining would there be if I locked account access to a single CDKey? This means that the CDKey used to create the account on the server would be the only one that would ever be able to access the account. It would cause some problems if you needed to buy another CD-Key for some reason and I'd have to reset the link so you could use the new one, but it would keep out database clean and prevent things like Chain-Banning that occurs when an account is accessed from a multiple cdkeys. The biggest restriction would be that you could NEVER share account on DEX for any reason (ie no Faction Accounts)

I don't know if it'd be a huge issue with most of the players, the main reason some members of TB shared was to make it easier with regards to builds, but since you've made the JPEG format on the player stats page that shouldn't be an issue.

Buying new NWN2 CD should not be a problem as well, no matter what cd-key u get with new one u can still install game using ur previous cd-key. I think there is no check for actuall numbers and letters that r in cd-key but algoritm check.
And i think that would be good , although the problem would be if 2 players are using same PC , same cd-key but different accounts (Lomir and Arestes for instance)...

Hey seed, im having trouble promoting a new commander. My commanders are , joe, fate, kooki, and warbull/shadow. Seems warbull has left nwn2 and im trying to fill his commander spot.I went under the player statistics website and on my roster list theres only 3 commanders listed, i dont remember removing warbull from the roster but i dont see him anywhere. When i try to promote moon to be a new commander with my coin it says there are already 4 commanders. I need help removing warbull since i cant find him and i know hes the commander i need to demote.

ok - I had to manually demote him because he hadn't logged in since I made DB faux-pas and deleted his account link.

You should be good to go now.

Ip was probably changed, and web site address changes along with it.

Yes, the Dex Player Statistic website URL will always be whatever the server URL is. Whenever you need to know the server URL, just look at the top-right of the DEX homepage (though there is some lead time before this site is updated with the latest URL as I think it needs to be done manually).
