don't forget shield scrolls are a +4 shield enhancement bonus, arcane casters have +4 shields, Melee do to, for 5 minutes at a time, and easily dispellable. I really think to empower Melees vs. casters you need to allow shield enhancment bonus' to be crafted, so Melees can have some undispellable AC. They can't dispell the clerics and mages, so as it stands now Melees are the ones who can't get the bonus, casters of almost any kind can.

dont think melees need buff I mean you can do like 300dmg hits with a good build and yes you can dispell casters with breach scrolls. A greater breach scroll will strip 6 buffs from the caster, happened to me already sometime. after you strip a casters buffs he is helpless I mean how would you think it would be when a caster could "dispel" a melees weapon Wink

would be a similar situation.

btw its not gonna happen that you do 300 dmg as a caster, it takes time to kill a melee char with a caster with the epic lvls since most spells are capped @lvl 20 but a melee char can kill a caster pretty fast.

It is not like I have a caster and want it remain "Powerful". I had a melee char but made a caster now cause I got rly bored with it, so this is my experience.
