 i cant run world gate
i just got my new pc and put all my games back on it along with the new vista 64 bit and when i click the new button to link it to dex i just get errors?????
can it not run on a 64 bit systm? |

ok my bad i got it to work but i cant test and exit now i enter the url but the test/exit button cant be pushed?
i enter the url and it files in the other things and it sayd dex2 on it so i know it has to be working somewhat. |

That link does not work at ALL in NWN2. It will be redone in patch 1.23. To get around this we use Worldgate, basically the installer about half the PW's use, other half use Audolo. This lets us download the PWC the first time, but if we change a little tiny thing, this program will just download the changed part, which reduces the size of downloads a lot. It also compresses the files as you download them using 7zip.
- Download the world gate 1.7b
WorldGate 1.7 (beta) - admin & client
Overview of this program
- Download the Zip file, and put the contents of it in C:/Program Files/WorldGate/
- Run the WorldGateClient.exe by double-clicking the downloaded app.
- The first time you start the WGC you will need to configure it to get the DEX PWC. Click on new to display the New PW Definiation screen.
- Click on from URL to display the URL entry form.
- Enter www.dungeoneternal.com and click OK.
- This will automatically configure WGC with the information needed to retrieve the DEX PWC files. Once the data is filled in, click on test and exit
- You will now see the WGC main window with the DungeonEternalX configuration displayed. Click on check for new files to update your PWC to the latest version.
- After this initial setup, you only have to launch this app, and click the check for new files. This APP is used by multiple PW's and is safe. It is not done by us at Dex but is a community designed and tested app. I imagine this is going to be used somewhat for the official updater which is getting released in janary.

They upgraded to 1.8 so the instruction don't work anymore. the 1.8 version is the final version, so click overview and try that client. |
